508 Compliance

508 compliance refers to ensuring that digital content, documents, and technology are accessible to individuals with disabilities as per the standards set by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 508 requires federal agencies (and often private organizations receiving federal funding) to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities, including employees and members of the public.
